Our regional Swagelok field engineering team provides on-site assistance and assessments for your toughest challenges.

Our experienced experts visit your facility, assess your systems, and offer advice on improvements through survey data or product mapping to enhance your operations.  We provide a comprehensive report after leak and energy surveys and often suggest solutions for product and application mapping in support of solving challenging issues or proactive safety planning.

 Meet our Director of Engineering Services 

Alex Yang, Director of Engineering Services, offers a suite of engineering services ranging from onsite and field engineering, emission reductions, design and fabrication services, training services, as well as supporting the development of engineered to order fluid systems. 

 

Alex joins Swagelok's Engineering Services team with over thirteen years of technology development experience and is keen to leverage his expertise and his team of Field Engineers to help customers across Colorado, New Mexico and Wyoming develop reliable solutions in their applications.

 

In his prior role as Director of R&D at Carbon America, he oversaw the turbomachinery development and experimental efforts in the pilot program and scaleup of FrostCC, a novel carbon capture and energy storage technology. Prior, Alex has led teams in the development of a kilowatt scale compressor and a novel energy recovery and storage technology application at Rebound Technologies, and Alex was a lead/mechanical engineer in the development of GE's high-efficiency air-cooled power generating turbines.

Alex holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University as a McMullen Dean's Scholar and a Master's in Systems Engineering from Georgia Tech. In his free time, he enjoys tinkering with old BMWs and new recipes.
